Online Learning
Here we go! We should be all set and ready to begin online learning! The assignments have all been posted and assigned. That does not mean, there aren't going to be any issues or bumps in the road. Please take this week one day at a time. Have your child take a break when it's becoming too much, and remember I'm here to help with anything! Please follow the guide that was emailed to you as best you can. Remember to have your child complete the assignments in order by the due date. With that said however, your child can complete the assignments as they fit into your schedules. All assignments can be found on your child's Clever account.
This week's targets are:
- Reading: Read ai/ay words (long a sound), Spell words with ay (long a sound at the end like pray, stay, day), Drawing Conclusions (use text clues and background knowledge)
- Math: Recognize clock parts (hour and minute hand), Tell time to the hour and half hour
- Language: Identify adjectives (describing words), Use adjectives when writing
I'm anxious to see how the week goes. I know it's not the same as learning in a classroom with a real, live teacher, but I'm hoping it's the next best thing, and allows your child to acquire some new skills while at home.
