I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy! Please keep checking this page and the ASD website for any updates.  Throughout the week, I will be adding links and resources for you and your child. As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email/call/text me! 
 
Hi my little lovelies!
I am missing each one of you SO very much! I miss your stories, watching you learn, and all of our hugs and laughs throughout the day.  We've experienced many learning adventures together this year and  this "at home learning" is a new learning adventure for all of us.  Just like in the classroom, we are a TEAM and we will work through this and figure this out together!   I hope you are enjoying the time with your families, playing outside, and continuing to read and work through your packet.  It is so very important for you to continue reading!  I would LOVE for you to journal everyday like our character Sam in The Trumpet of the Swan - just a couple sentences of an activity you participated in, helped out with, or your favorite part of the day - anything you would want to tell me about.  You could even write a little letter to me!   Please listen to the adults at home, help out around the house (just like each of you helped me in the classroom), and enjoy doing all of your school work in your PJS! :) I can't wait to see you again!

Online Instruction

Dear Parents and Families,

Beginning Monday, March 30th, 2nd grade will be implementing online assignments instead of the packets. Please keep the completed packet from Days 1-10 in the envelope to turn in at a later date. A “To Do List” will be sent each week to explain all the assignments that should be completed. We will be keeping track of attendance on these sites to ensure every child is completing their assignments. We encourage your child to complete the recommended work for that day and to NOT work ahead. 

Every resource that will be used is linked to your child’s Clever account. A video will be sent to explain how to access this. Before Monday, please have your child log on and make sure they can access everything. We created a “Diagnostic Test” as an assignment on Study Island so that your child can get used to the site. This is not graded. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
